Good times!

Hey y'all...I hope your Saturday was just as good as mine!

I just wanted to report back and say that I had a very good time at my Christmas Formal tonight. This whole week was hell...and I hated the fact that I had to put up with BS before I could look forward to my date with Nick Rolovich, our star QB. To think last week around this time I didn't even think that I was going to take anyone to formal. I'm still in shock that he said yes. I didn't what the heck I was thinking when I asked him, but he was so eager to go!

Nick's not a Heisman Trophy candidate, but he definitely could've won an award for the best damn date I've ever had. We rode to the hotel in Lincoln Navigator limos...and I must say that it was sweet!

We get to the hotel and there's a high school winter formal going on. The chaperones, the kids, even the police officers standing guard immediately flocked to Nick to take pictures...shake his hand...wish him good luck for our game against BYU next week. It was as if I had a date with a celebrity! And damn, he looked good tonight!

I took a whole crapload of pictures tonight, so you can bet that I'll be posting them online soon!

I'm just so sad that Formal's over! I hope that I'll always have great nights like these!

Sounds like you had a brush with fame last night, Sandy! LOL. Glad you had a good time.

Sean and I went to go see a close family friend in her high school production of "Arsenic and Old Lace." She was wonderful! She's also looking at colleges right now, and I'm just trying to convince her to rush. Unfortunately, I don't think she's looking at any colleges with an AGD chapter, but she will be an enormous asset to any organization she joins!

Heh heh...the only reason why I couldn't take Dave was because they had an retreat with their alumni this weekend. I don't know about him...he's a nice guy, but I feel like I'm bored when I'm around him. He still calls often, but I don't know. Maybe it's still too soon to tell.

I drove to Kmart early this morning to go drop off my two rolls of film from last night. I love one hour photo developing! I should have them ready before I go to Officer Training this afternoon.

Nick called me this morning just to say Good Morning. The team has their football banquet tonight, and as much as he says that he wanted to take me...I guess I just can't compare to his sister and mom. It's the thought that counts, right?
