Wow. This one is tough! I think I have two. One was the night of our senior to alumnae ritual, when I was graduating. My little sis wrote a poem for me that she read at the ceremony and it was beautiful. I knew that even though I was graduating and leaving college, I'd always have that incredible bond with these women. And in October, I'll be in her wedding...how'd she get married before me!! The other is our road trip to Johns Hopkins for a Mardi Gras mixer with Phi Kappa Psi. I will leave out the details, but let's just say it rocked!

Mine would have to be our colony period and all the work we did to get our charter. Next would have to be my pledge period. I pledged when we were local and we pledged HARD! Last would have to be spending time with our Beta pledge class! They were my faves, more than my own pledge sisters!

It's a tie between two!

1.Mixer with Sigma Pi- The guys are cool. Especially the one who flirted with me and gave me pecks all night. Unfortunately, he found a girlfriend, who is my late sorority!
But, she's cool though, I am happy for her.

2.Leaving my(social)sorority! I feel so free now!

Somethinstupid's last comment just goes to show that being in a social GLO isn't for everyone. She probably did the best thing for herself and the sorority by bowing out when she did.

Thumbs down

I still think that the sorority's benefitting more from her departure than she is.

Cool

I have so many wonderful memories that I could write about, from Bid Day, getting my big, initiation...but I would have to say the most memorable was my new member sleepover. All 15 of my fall 1999 girls and I spent the night making up silly songs, talking about boys, and just getting to know one another. We decided to go around in a cirlce and explain something that happened to you that changed your life, or something that meant a lot to you, and I swear I learned more about some of my sisters that night than I know about some of my closest friends from high school. We promised each other that we would never speak of any of this to anyone else, and no one has. It was special, because right away we all had this special bond between us, that no one else knew about. It brought me so much closer to all of them, and I will never forget all the laughs and ALL the tears that moment brought out. I absolutely love my fall class, and couldn't ask for a better group of girls to have come in with!! Love ya all Fall 1999!!

Well, this easy for me! I started the local that was colonized as LXA, LX Chapter.
I was and am a LXA for life as many of my fellow GC members know!
While I had and still do have many memories, that is the main one! But While talking with all of you, I will try to store all of it in my memory as I really enjoy your input on Greek Items!

My favorite memory was finding out who my big sis was. The time I spent w/my big was invaluable-she was a senior and had so much wisdom to impart on me. I was a mere freshmen, and she seemed so grown-up and sophisticated! I believe she made me a better sister, especially when I became a big sis. I miss you, Neeners!!!!
