Hey Everyone,

I am the Ritual Chair in my chapter and I have the 3D ceremony coming up soon. Does anyone have any good ideas for gifts to give to the seniors. I have a very tight budget but I would still like to give them something nice. Please let me know if you have any ideas, thanks so much!

Our chapter usually doesn't do anything really expensive for the seniors. Our girls going through 3D usually receive an alumnae car decal and last year we did journals for each of them. Each girl had her own journal and then all of the non-senior(or non-going through 3D) girls wrote a note to each of them in those. Granted we have a chapter total of 50 and only had to write in 16 or so last year. But it's a neat idea that I know they all really enjoyed.

Thanks so much the journal thing is a wonderful idea!!! We have a small chapter as well around 70.

I like the journal thing too. Also, an inexpensive picture frame with a picture of their pledge class might be nice too.

Our actives write each of the 3D girls a letter with funny memories or "good luck" or whatever. Then whoever is in charge puts all the letters in a cute binder for them. I loved mine!

We recently started this thing where you get a pearl for attending some of our functions, so you can string them together when you graduate and it represents all the good times you had in Phi Mu and reminds you of all your sisters who aren't there with you. Because we just started this, the seniors will have maybe 3 pearls, so they are going to give them to the people that have really affected them, and we are giving all the senior pearl bracelets (fake of course) at 3d just as a little keepsake.

we did the journal thing for our new phis. i still have mine and i love it! even tho it is a zillion years from my initiation.

for 3d, we were given a copy of the creed in a quatrafoil frame. they printed it on nice paper nd everything. it is in my living room on the wall with my college and master's degrees. i know that the year after i graduated was the last year that they could find the quatrafoil frames, but you could put it in a nice frame.
