Al Michaels traded for a cartoon

http://www.clickondetroit.com/sports...53/detail.html

Apparently Al Michaels has been traded to NBC for the rights to the character who was the precursor to Mickey Mouse...

Weird.

So Madden will still be around -- I'm assuming Chris Berman and Tom Jackson will still have their show, I hope.

NFL Primetime isn't going anywhere; it gets good ratings, and Berman and Jackson are fixtures at ESPN. Berman was there the first day ESPN started, and I don't see him leaving anytime soon.

The MNF team for next year will be Mike Tirico (who I think is awesome), Joe Theisman, and Tony Korneiser.

Michaels is a great play by play guy. NBC is wise to get him.

Madden has always left me cold, but there are few more knowledgable about football.

Awesome. I remember them getting all mushy with each other during the final show of the regular season, so I was a little worried. It's kind of sad how much I love NFL Primetime.

I also love John Madden. Love him. He cracks me up every time.

I'm not looking forward to any broadcast that includes Joe Theisman. He just annoys the hell out of me.
