Has anyone heard that the White House is not owned By America, But The Japanese and is rented for $1.00 a Year?

I hadn't heard that and can't seem to find any confirmation. But, why would this be a problem?

Highly unlikely we'd sell out a national treasure and the symbol of the executive branch of the U.S. government to some foreign government.

If I remember correctly, there is a replica of the White House built in Japan.
