Oh yes the Smoot.
It is a great LXA tradition. The marks really are repainted every year. I have walked the bridge many times.
One thing I have to say, the bridge is REALLY long. I cannot imagine having to actually get up, lay down, get up, lay down over and over again in the cold New England winter on the cold concrete.

It's a shame that today this would be grounds for closing a chapter. Hazing, risk managment, separation issues...

True Em, very good point.
There is a difference between the malicious destruction of property and good clean college fun.
Alot of stunts like has given our fraternity a truly unique national identity.

And events - like Watermelon Bust, which is now supposed to be called Watermelon "Fest".
There's a big difference between risk management and just plain cowardice.

Dont feel bad GammaZeta, I didnt either till this site.
Sounds a bit like derby days but with watermelons. We dont do it now, but may try to work it into Our "WesternWeek" at Pitt.
This was our focal point to go against derby days.
Sounds fun as heck anyway!!!!!
Jono, Rsk Managment is first and foremost anymore!
