Lil' Kim On the Parkers

Was I the only one who noticed lil' Kim's "new face" on the Parkers last night... I tell you she is a little bundle of low self esteem... Michael Jackson watch out she was so pretty too! Why did she feel the need to change herself like this.... implants, nose and facial surgery?
Any body else notice the ugly mug she has now?

Thumbs down Hot Mess

I noticed it too. A co-worker was trying to say it was the make-up and I was like nooooooo that heffa done had some surgeries (plural)

I don't know why people get a little $$$ they go messing themselves up.

My Grandmother would ask us " Why do ya'll pay somebody to make yourself look like a fool?" referring to us dying our hair and what not but I see what she means now.

Yall know what? I thought I was the only person who noticed that mess. I didn't even know who she was. She was a cute girl, even before the lipo. Too bad she had such a poor self-image. I've been through with her since she INSISTS on wearing all blonde wigs. I was with her when she was color coordinating, I thought that was cute, and it was her thang. Now, she is straight trying to be Black Barbie, and I just can't take it.

You would think people would learn from MJJ.

I just want for our people to look in the mirror and see beauty in what stares back. That is all I want.

You took the words right out of my mouth!

I had the show on last night, but I was busy doing something else that it was watching me instead. So, I really missed it.

Unhappy

i missed the episode but i'm not surprised. she was quoted in an article saying that growing up, she didn't feel as attractive as her Latina neighbors. she felt that way b/c the men in her community went straight for the JLos of the world. i keep forgetting she's a brown-skinned woman w/dark hair since she insists on being Malibu Barbie. she has a major self-image problem. she should read ESSENCE, talk w/Susan Taylor, and take a class taught by Soror Maya Angelou. she could use their help. hating your own color is such a sad way to live.

Unhappy It's a shame....

I remember that I use to tell my cousin that she was trying to be Faith (Evans)...like back in the day when she first started wearing those blond wigs, putting a mole on her face, running after Biggie...and, she couldn't STAND Faith...She's an E! True Hollywood Story waiting to happen...*shaking my head*

Ahhh man I sitting here telling my friend the same thing... I always thought she has identity problems and I was hoping that she would not go to this length to satisfy this ideal she has in her head. I've always said that women that have to dress trampy in the way she dresses and always demand attention have a screw loose up there. All that is left to do is pray.....

When she was introduced on the show, I thought it was a look alike. I didn't realize it was really her until I remembered hearing that she had a nose job. She was much cuter prior to the surgery. She has to live with herself and self-image. It doesn't matter how the world sees you, if you can't see your worth.

I agree w/ you ladies. I was feeling her when she first came out w/ Junior Mafia and then when she did her first solo album. Now, not even.....I am disappointed in her drastic physical changes and also in her music. I was not impressed w/ her last CD.

Lady, you are a trip!

I concur with you all. When I looked at The Parkers and saw Lil' Kim on the screen, I kept thinking to myself: "Is it me, or did she do something with her face." To me, she made herself look really hard, and not as soft as her face tended to look previously. I thought that perhaps she was going through a really hard time or something...surgery didn't cross my mind.

Dearheart does need a little self image help. She needs to get to a place where she can hear that she is "fearfully and wonderfully made"...the church! Ya'll keep her lifted up in prayer. Put her on the same prayer list that you have Whitney on. We've got to pray for these women....mostly because little girls are looking up to them to be a role model, and by the looks of things, they aren't able to deliver. Why? Because they are imperfect as we all are.

She's not alone

Vivaca Fox had her face sculpt too, if you saw 2 can Play....then you would have noticed. I can honestly say I don't really know what Li Kim looked liked before, because I'm just not a follower, but I did see the Parkers, and her face was chisseled like Vivaca. They must have the same DR. Vivaca use to look like an average, beautiful black woma, naturally, but her latest work has her looking too fake. As for the blond wigs, so many sisers are sporting them, I don't get it, but whatever floats your boat.
