Exclamation Oh, the HORROR!

{{{enter music from "PSYCHO" here}}}

Roommates

We've all had them or will have them
Some we became great friends with
Some we delt with
Others we became enemies with

Some we shared houses with
Some we shared apartments with
Others we shared dorm rooms with

They have kept us awake, or woke us up early
They have slept all day and skipped all classes
They have been workaholics and slackers
They have been spoiled and deprived
They have been neat-freaks and slobs
They have been drunkards and druggies
They have been Greeks and Geeks

They have been someone who borrows all your stuff (with/w-out permission)
They have been someone from whom you borrow (with/w-out permission)

They have done great things for us
They have driven us insane

But there is one thing all roommates have in common...
...we will always remember them, for better or worse.

Tell your story of a roommate or roomates. It can be funny, sad, sentimental, annoying, unexplainable, unexcusable, or even scary.

Zetalovebunny thats awesome!!! Makes me wanna Post that on my DOOR and highlight a few parts!!!
I have had 2 bad to the bone roomates, the kind that makes you want to put tape down the middle of the floor and have a trip wire on your side
Anyways, one of my old roomies was one of them people who are 21 going on 55. (sorry for some of you who are like that, no offense) She was only in the room from Tuesday -thursday. She lived 45 minutes from campus but had a door room and went home thursday nite through monday nite ( go figure) anyway, we had double of everything , tv radio, phone etc.... Her Boyfriend used to call 24/7 if I told him she was in the shower he 'd say no prob just put me on hold.If I was watching tv, she would turn hers up to math the sound on my tv, same goes for the radio, so war zone our room was. She would go to sleep at like 8pm and then had a nerve to put her televison on like a 5hour timer, with volume all the way up. She had three cars on campus, one her boyfriend brought her , one her daddy brought her and then one she brought and then used to complain that people were late to come pick her up!!!!!
There used to be clothes trails in our room you could almost trace her steps to see where she disappeared too. Clothes every where and her friends used to say wow your closet is so clean. Of course it would be clean all her flipping clothes were on the floor.
Grrr, just thinking about it I am annoyed, oh well you win some you lose some, Thats why I got a single room soon after

Cool Fab Roomies

I have been quite lucky with my roommates...

My college roomie & I ended up roommates for 3 years straight! I was at her wedding shortly after our graduation. Still friends (although I don't see her as much as I like).

One summer between classes I lived in Ann Arbor with 3 roommates... 2 from school & 1 from A2 (one of the 1st 2 roommate's cousins). We had such a good time... we all just worked & partied. I only really stay in touch with one of them now, but will always consider them good friends.

I've had a couple other roommates since then... both old friends. Always fun.. although we didn't clean as much as we should have because we spend so much time having fun.

I spend a brief period one summer with an apartment all to myself. Even though I have had wonderful rommates... I enjoyed the solitude, not having to track down who owed how much on the phone bill, etc. I do believe everyone should be out all on their own at least once. It does help you discover more of yourself. But I wouldn't trade my roommies for anything!

Oh, the fun times I've had with roommates...

The highlight of my roommate career was probably when my "best" friend and I moved into an apartment junior year. We each had our own bedroom, but to get to the bathroom, you had to go through her bedroom. Well, she would get really drunk and bring home guys and lock her bedroom door, so I couldn't go to the bathroom. It was really fun going across the street to Handimart in the middle of the night. Also, when guys called for me, she wouldn't tell me because it "wasn't important." I moved out after a month -- it was such a bad scene that I moved in with some guy I had known for about 2 weeks (that's another story for another time). Plus, we had bats, although I don't know if they really count as roommates.

Having not learned my lesson the first time, she moved in with me again about six months later. She arrived at the apartment with a big ol' box of dirty dishes (yes, dirty). She put the box of dirty dishes into our extra room and they stayed there (yes, dirty) until after I had moved out again, which was after the ants arrived...

Maybe later I'll tell you about my roommate freshman year...
