1. Exams
2. Chapter Dues (ours weren't too bad, but it's nice having the extra money)
3. Departmental drama (there's not as much as at my undergrad uni)
I have found that most of the undergraduate drama is still present at the postgraduate level, and I'm sure it'll be there when I finally enter into academia proper after my PhD. C'est la vie.

I don't miss:
- Coming home from a long day at school and having to study for 3 exams I have that week
- Slackers in my groups
- Sorority house drama and gossip
- Paying $1200 a semester in dues which didn't include t-shirts, philanthropy donations, etc. Come on- we're poor college students!
- Being broke all the time
- Annoying roommates/neighbors
- Socials which required buying all new clothes for the theme or buddy socials that required buying a buddy gift
- Campus parking or lack thereof

Ugh...I miss college sooo much, and what sucks is that all the stuff I don't miss I'm still dealing with cause I'm in med school.
For example:
1) Studying for an Organic test when there's a swap....(Oh, wait, I study even more now....social life, what?)
2) Looooong chapter meetings (ooohhh....even longer classes and study groups.....)
3) Terrible parking (I go to school in downtown Memphis. Nuff said)
4) Ditto on the people taking your shower stuff. But that doesn't happen anymore.
5) Trying to persuade my sorority sisters to come hang out at my boyfriends fraternity house (They were a smaller not-as-cool house. But I loved them!!)

I don't miss
--buying groceries on $40/week (hello, ramen!)
--bitchy roommates
--my parents holding the purse-strings (probably the biggest thing!)
--professors who gave grades based only on the comprehensive final exam (I'm not *that* much of a masochist!)
--paying dues
--being clueless about the world

I most definitely do not miss not having two nickels to rub together.
In fact, my best friend was up here a few weeks ago to run in the Marine Corps marathon and we met up to shop at Pentagon City and as we were wandering through the mall she said, "Remember how a bunch of us used to hit the stores before every mixer to find new outfits?" (she and I weren't close friends until my senior year) and I just looked at her and said, "Are you nuts? I was one of those people who had one cute outfit and wore it at every mixer for a year!"

- 8 am classes
- annoying roommates
- raising tuition rates
- paying a ton for a little itty bitty textbook
- paying an arm & leg for parking
- having to work all the time to pay sorority dues and trying to balance work with school/sorority and still being broke (One of the MAJOR things I love about being out of college is the grown up paychecks! )
- petty drama and trying to always stay out of it
- professors that sound like the Clear Eyes commercial guy
- waking up at 6 am to be one of the first people to register so the critical classes wouldn't be full
- certain people bitching that everyone needed to pay the large chapter dues and then making everything mandatory so that no one had time to WORK to get money to pay the dues and them not understanding that not every college kid has everything handed to them by mommy & daddy. hehehe sorry but that one I just never understood !

I don't miss trying to hold down a job, a babysitting business, while still trying to do well in school. Adding fraternity business on top of that, I remember why I didn't sleep all that much.

WHOA, You are not still in school? You are Not a COED anymore!
Dang, I am and have been looking for A Younger Women from Kansas where Peeps are Sane!
What is funny, when I had 2 roomates and We had an Apt. above a House, We went to the Grocers Weekly and bought what We were going to eat for the Week. Damn, We did eat good!
Never heard of Raymond Noodles and was below our standards of dining!
Oh, Fried Chicken, mashed taters and White Gravy. Potatoe salad, BBQ Beans, Bean Salad, Roasts, Fish, Salads, Hot Dogs maybe once a month, burgers the same. Fish, Mac & Cheese with Tuna and other meals!
We never told anyone what We had as We were Frugal with Cash for Food!

LOL Oh gosh no. I graduated from college in '97.
Hey wait! It just accured to me that my ten year college reunion is next year. - That should be fun. I'm sure me and my friends could come up with tons of stuff to add to this list
