Panera - totally overated. Of course, it probably doesn't help that it's one of the few options for lunch near my office and I've had just about everything on the menu, but anyway...

These two aren't really fast-food, but I feel like complaining today:

Domino's Pizza - Yuck, yuck, YUCK! I seriously can not even finish one slice. The sauce is disgustingly sweet and the crust is cardboard. I honestly don't know how they stay open in Chicago (or for that matter, NYC...do they have Domino's in NYC?) when there are so many places to get a real pizza.

Olive Garden - It kills me when people say this is my favorite restaurant. At a company where I used to work, one year we gave OG gift certificates to one of my bosses. As we were discussing the gift certificates, I was the only one going, "Um, guys...does she really like Olive Garden?" They assured me she did. Sure thing, after we presented the coupons, she sent out an e-mail saying "Oh my gosh, thank you! Olive Garden is my favorite restaurant!" Barf.

The $5 little Ceasars Pizza is a good deal, but gosh, it's the worst tasting pizza of all the big chains....

And the last to offer delivery......

Ditto to Domino's, their deep dish got old.

Papa Johns....mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Rally's had good curly fries. That was about it, though.

I hate all those nasty places you find at mall food courts, i.e. Great Steak & Potato Co., Mr. Wok, etc. None of them are any good.

Since we are getting into pizza...how widespread is/was Four Star? Gaack, that stuff was disgusting even when we were in college and flat broke.

You don't like the double quarter pounder with cheese? Blasphemy!

If you're not familiar with the term peristalis (sp?), eat one of the big burgers at Hardee's for a quick review. Tom, ever eat at Chipotle?

HOW COULD I FORGET CHIPOTLE???

Talk about not getting what you pay for, 6 bucks for a burrito half the size you'd get at a Roberto's or something.

And, it doesn't taste THAT good. Rubios is better.

Isn't Chipotle owned by McD's?

Hardee's definitely. Out here, they are only located at truck stops so you already know what it probably taste like. BLAH!

Applebee's is another place that is just TIR-ED.

I like Chipotle's although I've only had their hardshell grilled chicken tacos. YUM

I'm gonna toss out Five Guys, Jerry's Subs and Fazoli's. Five Guys are popping up all over the DC metro area but I think they're overpriced and not that great. You do get a lot of fries, though. Jerry's is also overpriced for all the more you get. I loved Fazoli's when I worked at Cedar Point, but the past couple times I've had it it hasn't been as good as I remembered. Their breadsticks are still pretty good, though!

I've only had one Whataburger, and it was unmemorable as being bad or good. We went because we liked the logo!
