Hhhhmmm...if that is true (not that I doubt you), I wonder why the website isn't updated to reflect that? Do you know? What's going on? I was wondering why two North Carolina schools were competing. That wouldn't be much of a "border battle".

What's up Diamond007? I'm a 1994 graduate of SC State University. My husband and I JUST returned from the homecoming activities that took place on last weekend. It's good to see a fellow Bulldog present on GC. GOOOOO BULLDOGS!!!!

Carolina's classic
hi. It was reported earlier this year that the 100 Black Men of Charlotte had already paid for the stadium or something to that matter, so they HAD to get two teams to play in the game on this specific weekend. The usual A&T SCSU game wasn't going to work b/c A&T plays Jackson State that weekend (Peach State Classic, GA Dome)... so they booked JCSU and NCCU ( eagle pride!!!!) to continue the Classic. I'll post a link to the article if i can find it.
BTW, i'm new to GC. I've been reading the boards silently for a while, but this is my 1st post.

Battle of the Border
The battle of the border is usually the weekend before Thanksgiving and per my alumni newsletter there was a scheduling conflict with the Carolina Panters so the Carolina Classic had to be rescheduled for Nov. 4th with two different teams since A&T will be in Atlanta. A&T will still be playing SCSC but it will be at SCSU.
