a fun little story

So, in class today, our "homework" assignment was to role play with a person the counselor/client role, and write it down. So me and my partner read ours to the class. In in, I mention "my sorority" but not by name (though today I had a DG shirt on).

When we're done, my 70ish year old male professor looks over and goes "She wears the golden anchor, the bronze, pink and blue. Delta Gam I love you and to you I will be true."! That's one of our songs! He's a Phi Delt, and when I asked how he knew the song, he said "I know all of the sorority songs!"

SO FUNNY, and so random!

Indeed, that's the Delta Gamma Sweetheart song! It's a great, old-fashioned waltz with lovely harmonies. Too bad more chapters don't know it.
