Greeks Take Katrina-Displaced Members

At the U. of Kansas (KU), Chi O and Pi Phi have welcomed members from the chapters at Tulane:

I'll bet the same thing is happening at other colleges and universities.

I posted this in the other thread, but the Chi Omegas here at Kent have taken in a sister from Tulane whom I had the pleasure of meeting at our Greek Info Night. Her story was very touching.

There was actually a dorm fire here that displaced several students, so when she arrived, they were having BIG problems finding her a room on campus. They have been very accomodating to her, and one girl even voluntarily gave up her room in the already full chapter house so that she will have somewhere to stay for the time that she is here.

Sigma has 4 chapters in Louisiana and 2 of them were affected by the hurricane. We, along with many other housed Sigma chapters, have made it known that our doors are open to our sisters down South.
