Stevie Wonder if I am not mistaken and that is one of my favorite remakes as well.

Pure Soul's remake of the O'Jays' "Stairway to Heaven" was mighty tight as well as H-Town's cover of the Persuaders' "Thin Line Between Love and Hate"
oh, and D'Angel's "Cruisin" is better than Smokey's

I was just about to post about this, except I like Smokey's version too. D'Angelo just adds that neo-soul flavor to a classic...

"Lately"- Jodeci
I like almost every version of "I Can't Make You Love Me". There are so many versions that I don't know which came first, althought I think it was Nancy Wilson. I love Prince's version though. Its amazing how he can manage to put a freaky twist on a sad love song.

Thanks PrettyKitty, I thought that's who it was, but wasn't sure.

I also wanna include the remake of "Am I Dreamin'" by X-Scape featuring Ol' Skool. I still love that song, but having Left Eye in the video was kinda dumb, since she looked like she shoulda been the stripper and she was just her friend.
