Thank you! Even though I am in Atlanta I don't get over there that much. If you watch reruns of A Different World, Spelman was the model for Hillman College

The old Phi chapter of Chi O was at Hellmuth Ladies' College in London, Ontario. Hellmuth no longer exists and through my Googling, I wasn't able to find whether the school was ever affiliated with the University of Western Ontario. Brescia University College, a Catholic school, is affiliated with UWO and is women-only. Sororities at UWO are:

AGD, KAT, AF, AOP, PBF

Our Zeta Chapter was also there 1893-1950

And Iota was at Barnard 1901-1915

Alpha Gamma Delta chapters:

Theta, Goucher (1908)
Mu, Brenau (1913)
Epsilon Phi, Texas Women's University (1985)
Theta Zeta, Randolph-Macon (1987)

Was Avila College in Kansas City originally all-women?
(1995; inactive a few years later)

Sent to me:

A sorority called Beta Sigma Omicron, mostly in the midwest, had several girls'
school chapters. They were not a strong outfit and eventually were absorbed by ZTA in
1964. They had chartered a lot of campuses and were not considered a successful outfit.
See Baird's for more. Erik

Avila in KC Mo now coed had at least one sorority, cannot remember what one of my customes told Me she was.

Bryn Mawr has an AKA chapter there. as far as the other 'seven sister' schools that were mentioned, there is an AKA city chapter that includes Wellesley, and perhaps another school in the original post. not sure since my history book doesn't give a campus breakdown for city chapters.
thank you for the Spelman compliment, Phoenix Azul. we think our alma mater is pretty, too

Before that time Spelman women sometimes joined as "general" members at their sororities national convention.

All four NPHC sororities have charters at Spelman or students have the ability of joining through a citywide chapter, but I am not sure if all are currently active.

There are several other Spelman Alumna that post on this board that might be able to give more insight
I come from several generations of Spelman women(though I did not attend). Ironically, even though sororities did not exist before the 70s, Spelmanites were "Queens" for the fraternities across the street at Morehouse College. My mom was the Queen for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in the late 1950s. I do love the campus there--GORGEOUS!

One of my friends goes to Wellesley and she was telling me that even though they don't have sororities there, they do have greek letter societies.
