Red face Help! I am one cinch from going BALLISTIC!!!

I don't know what is wrong with me. I just feel like I want to explode. I am also depressed. I just wish that I knew what is causing these feelings and what I can do about it. And, when I am like this, I am a space cadet and it is affecting my school and job performance. Any advice?

I don't know how old you are, but I'm assuming that you are in college and maybe in your early twenties somewhere? If so, this is normal for a majority of college students. It's sometimes caused by a build up of academic stress and feelings of growing older. You are making some sort of transition into adult life, and it might be scary for you? Maybe you aren't excited about the future and you want to stay young? I know that a lot of students and young adults feel the same way at certain times in their young lives, I did at one point too. How did I get through it? Stayed around friends and things that made me happy and made me feel good about myself. Over time, I got over it. Maybe you just need to exercise a little, go out jogging, walking, something. A little exercise can always cheer someone up. Maybe just go to a massage parlor, get a nice massage or something like that. If nothing works, maybe go to see a counselor, they can be a big help at times, even if it's your academic advisor.

Geez, if i had a dollar for the times I get some depression, I would not have as much $$$$$$$ as Bill Gates!!!! But would have a lot more than I have now!

Rent some good tapes that are comedies! When i get depressed, I throw in Beverly Hills Cops, Animal House, Lethal Weapon, Top Gun, Tombstone, or Wyatt Earp!!

The good guys win and makes one feel better, or at least me! But I always cry when Goose gets it!

Life is like a roller coaster there are ups and downs! Life is like a bicycle wheel sometimes you are on the top and sometimes on the bottom, but it keeps turning!!!!!!

I would really enjoy pulling an Office Space, but I would really like to keep my job because it pays very well and I get benefits for part time.....but....if one day I got mad...it could all come crumbling down...I would push the walls of my cubicle over!

Whenever I get depress, I tend to look inward and do some meditation. Yoga is a great way to take out that stress. If all fails, do what I do and listen to good old fashion heavy metal such as Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth and mosh!!!

BTW, it seem a consequenace of the Anthrax scare, the band Anthrax are now making a come back. And I'm not kidding. Bring back the good old days of torn pants and jean jackets. I'm taking out my Iron Maiden shirt!!!!!!!

I am feeling better now, perhaps it is because I been exercising. You know that it is scientifically proven that exercise can raise both seratonin and dopamine levels.

Yeah, it also raises endorphin levels which make you feel great.
