Talking How To Do A Search

I posted this in another Chit Chat thread, but thought that this topic deserved its own spot, especially since the format of GC has recently changed.

For any newcomer who doesn't know how to perform a search in order to find out if a topic has already been discussed in a previous thread, here's how:

Look at the top of the Greek Chat page (any page) and you will see several blue buttons. They are "User CP", "Register", "Calendar", "Members", "F.A.Q.", "SEARCH", and "Home."

Click on the Search button and you will find several ways in which to perform a search on GC. You can search by Keyword or User Name, and you can also limit your search to a particular date or forum. It's really simple once you get familiar with it, and with the new GC format that has been implemented in the past few weeks it's easier than ever to find things (and quicker too!)

Hope this helps!

Oh, one more thing, the buttons at the top of GC pages have a lot of information inside. I would recommend that all GCers, new and old, take some time to check them out so that you know how to edit posts and check your private messages, among other things. Learning how those buttons work helps you navigate through GC more easily and, also, may introduce you to some new functions that you may not know GC offers.

Happy searching!

Carrie

Trouble in the morning?

If you're anything like me, you have significant troubles with many commonly-faced tasks first thing in the morning. Thankfully, though, for all the newcomers I've come up with a guide to getting dressed in the morning.

First, you're going to want to actually wake up, and roll out of bed. I sleep in the nude, so I'm all prepped and ready to go (showers are easily elminated by spraying a lot of pitchouli oil). Next, look for the pile of clothing your mother laid out for you the night before. It will look like the other piles around your room, except these clothes will be clean and folded and will probably not stink.

In this pile, look for the short-like things - these are underwear. Mine have ALF on them, or sometimes Scooby Doo. Put these on first. Next, proceed to the longer-looking leg things, these would be pants, and under them in the pile would be a shirt of some sort. After all of these are on, you're nearly on your way.

The final important stage is to put on sox BEFORE you attempt to place your shoes on your feet. Sox appear in the general shape of the foot, but not smelly. After going sox, then shoes, marinade yourself in that previously-mentioned pitchouli oil, and head on out!

Just to recap - underwear before pants, and pants and sox before shoes!

Hope this helps!
