Too much money to the taxpayers of Santa Maria County on the DA side, Mikey's prolly mortgaged to the eyeballs on the defense side. Don't be surprised if he sells off some of his assets to pay the defense.

Didn't he sell Neverland Ranch? I thought Banc of America also provided him with capital against his Beatles income too...

Did ya read my explanatory post above? Tongue FIRMLY planted in cheek! Or do people NOT interpret correctly?
A jury of his peers may have found him not guilty on all charges, but the court of public opinion seems to think otherwise. There's gonna be a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on long after the trial's over.
'Nuff said.

The thing is, people are stupid. If they weren't in the courtroom, they have no idea whether he's guilty or not -- I wish all the people complaining about the verdict would realize that.

I think the jurors were drinking Jesus juice prior to voting for keeping this sick fuck out on the streets free to sleep with other boys.

Just tongue in cheek, but would the first person hung be the accuser's lying momma? Or the greedy vengeful prosecutor?

My opinion changes a SMALL bit after listening to the jurors speak. There was no "smoking gun" as one put it, in this case.
However, he does have to reinvent his personality after all this bad publicity. Many people aren't going to forget the things he has done...like sleeping with children in the same bed at his age. (I know...Parents should not be letting it happen, but he also should not do it to begin with!)
From what I am to understand, he is mortgaged up to his eyeballs. I have heard that Paul McCartney is watching carefully to see if the Beatle's recordings will be sold. I have to imagine that there is going to be some major Jackson memorbilia on sale very soon.
Anyone think they are going to sue him in civil court? I think the mom has done enough to ruin their reputation, but I won't put it past her.

True. I can't say for certain whether he is guilty or not guilty but what I will say is that I would NEVER let my future child hang around him. And it's not just because he has been brought up on child molestation charges but because he's weird as hell. He's a grown man that he thinks/wishes he was 9. That alone would keep me from letting my child around him. These parents that still let their kids around him are stupid.

NBC said that the trial cost over $4 million dollars.

This is what I'm hoping! I've been to at least two Paul McCartney concerts where he's said that he doesn't play his own songs that are owned by somebody else. It's time for that catalog to get back in the proper hands.
And any mother or father who allows his or her child sleep with a grown man - ESPECIALLY a man who has had molestation allegations to begin with! - should be held as an accessory!
Eta for grammar

I must admit I'm shocked.
But, as Vakyrie says, I wasn't there in the courtroom.

See thats what I thought too but we were discussing it at work and someone was telling me that his finances werent in that much trouble and how some of his celebrity friends like Trump had offered to help him out. I havent found anything that confirms that but I was wondering if anyone else had heard this too??
I too am hoping he'll have to sell his Beatles collection...
