Post Handicapped Prospectives...

Hello, everyone! I hope that everyone is doing well despite what troubles may try to befall us. I am new to this whole forum idea, so everyone please bear with me. Now before any one decides to jump down my throat, I have performed a search and I found no results on this particular thread. If there is in fact a thread with this TYPE of info, then I truly apologize. Well.... I was wondering what everyone thinks about handicapped, whether it be a permanent or temporary injury, prospectives. My brother is a Sigma and he has brothers who say that they are less than willing to even accept the submission of a handicapped prospective. I was just wondering what everyone thought about handicapped prospectives trying to join his/her org.

Never dealt with the situation where the disability was physical, but I have encountered Dyslexia and ADHD and it brings unique challenges to the pledge process, but they are overcome by the line working together.

I personally wouldn't have a problem with a handicapped prospective. As long as the person meets the other requirements, it's all good!

i wouldn't have a problem w/a prospective who had a handicap, as long as their packet was tight. that goes for anyone. i heard of a line, where one member was blind. based on the stories, the bonding was absolutely incredible.

I know of a Que that is severly handicapp and he pledged old school and he stepped. So i wouldn't have a problem whatsoever as long as you are qualified.
