This movie will air on BET this Friday night. It stars Mary J, Q-Tip, and others.

This movie must have gone straight to video. Didn't they make this movie a few years ago? Or was it made exclusively for BET? I do remember Mary speaking of this a few years ago.




I'll have to catch it when it is re-aired.

I remember that too. But, I thought it would hit the theaters first. Oh well.

I do know that this film is not a BET original. It'll probably only get play on BET though.

I watched Prison Song when it came on.
It was so touching. The acting was good, espeically since Q-tip and Mary are not "actors" first. The story line was superb. I don't want to spoil it in case is is aired again. It had a few angles, but the main idea was a non traditional family caught up in the system and their fight e to survive.

I like it, and didn't like it all at the same time. For those that saw the monie I hope you understand what I mean. Like the ending.
