I'm not in college but I will be next year. I want to TRY to join a sorority but I hear so much crap then so much good things about being in one or basically joining one. They say that's the worst part but being in one is the bomb!!! lol...anywayz. I want to know the worst thing someone has had to do to join a sorority. When and where do you practice routines? How long does it take?
Are there any video tapes out there that show basic routines?
What is the best way to begin joining a soror? What do I have to ask about? SOMEBODY JUST PLEASE HELP ME
I love to dance and being a soror girl will just make me feel better. And if I can be a Delta Sigma Theta soror then I'll feel better as a woman.

Giiiiiiiiiiiiirl, hella fly or not!! You need to read the RULES of this FORUM, first and foremost.

It seems to me that the only thing you care about is the "FUN" part of sorority life. GET OVER THAT!!

DELTA as is the other BGLOs are about BUSINESS first and partying/stepping second. We don't need another partier.

As it is, you writing what you did shows how misplaced your priorities are. Seems to me you need to get your mind right: Homework first, community service, be a kid while you can because college and all that it entails is down the road.

Explore your options. Sorority life is not for everyone.

You like to DANCE so you want to be a DELTA??? Join the college dance troupe if you like to dance. Delta is not about dancing. Delta is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH BIGGER than DANCING, STEPPING, PROBATE SHOWS, PARTIES and all that EXTRA stuff. I STRONGLY SUGGEST you take a minute or nine to find out what being an NPHC GREEK, nevermind being a Delta specifically, is REALLY about before you come on a Delta board claiming that's what you want to be.
