It's not that I'm hung up on your level of proficiency. I don't care much for spelling and grammatical mistakes. It's that you can't understand something because of your level of "proficiency".

To make an effort to do or accomplish (something);

Do you understand what try means? It doesn't mean that if you "try" to be funny, that you are not. Do you get it now?

Some of my personal GC pet peeves:

*People who aren't in sororities, yet are forever speculating on what we need to do or don't need to do to "fix" our recruitment procedures.

*Not that I mind men chiming in every now and then, but fraternity men who are critical of our groups and procedures really need to STFU.
