I'm a huge fan of Mannheim Steamroller's "Stille Nacht", "Carol of the Bells", and "Traditions of Christmas". I love anything by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, too, especially "Old City Bar." I'm going to see them on Nov. 20th in Greensboro. I'm so excited I like any version of "O Holy Night" too.

And I also love "Baby, It's Cold Outside". I think it's the version by Bing Crosby and Doris Day.

			I like:
 1. Christmas Lullaby (the one that goes "Lullaby, Lullaby, Lulla-lulla-lullaby (3x) and then "Sleep Baby Jesus, do not cry for fear...."). We sang it in school as part of our Nativity performance.

 2. The Virgin's Slumber Song ("Amid the roses Mary sits and rocks her Jesus Child......") This was performed by the Folk Group, a select few members of the Senior Choir at my high school.

 3. I'll Be Home For Christmas

 4. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

 5. Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire

 6. Jingle Bell Rock

 7. White Christmas

 8. Silent Night

 9. Away In A Manger

 10. O Come All Ye Faithful

 11. The First Noel

 12. What Child Is This?

 | Is it the same one I posted? If so, then yes, it's called "Christmas Lullaby".

 | Yes, but it does have another name.... *goes to look it up* The Coventry Carol. That's what I've always seen it named as. And instead of saying "Lullaby" you say "lulllay"

edit: It's a different song. I'm a doofus.

 | Oooo....I know "The Coventry Carol", but that's not what I was thinking of......the one I posted has the lines "Sleep Baby Jesus, do not cry for fear/I will protect You, I am ever near." It think it was written by a Canadian woman.

 | [small voice] It's okay... my favorite is Clay Aiken's version of O Holy Night. [/small voice]

Anyway...
I've always enjoyed The Christmas Song (Chestnuts over an open fire... etc) and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.

YAY for TSO!
