Mixer Ideas for Orgs that do not have houses

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for people who do no have houses. A lot of orgs in Canada do not have houses (we do not have accomondations from the university, hard to find places that will rent etc.)-apartments and such and i was wondering if anyone had any mixer ideas-like something you could do in an apartment or bar or place etc.

Hardly any of the orgs on my campus do any mixers at the house. We always rent out local bars and have any theme imaginable. I'm sure there are threads on mixer themes here on GC.

Yeah, I'd just like to point out, that simply because we have houses doesn't mean that we party there. At Nebraska, when we have a two or 4 house party, we'll have an unofficial primer event at someone's home, then go to someplace where we can have a third party vendor for the actual dance/ official party.
