Liza Huber herself WAS a soap opera star - she was the original Gwen on Passions.

I'm a Days of Our Lives girl myself, i've watched it since I was a baby. Now that i'm in the real world I don't watch it unless I'm home..but generally thats enough to catch me up since one day generally last 6 months in Salem!

I watch Days of our Lives myself, though I don't get much of a chance while I'm off at school. My mom has been watching it since I was young, so I kinda caught onto it too :-P My little sister likes to watch Passions during the summer when she's off of school, but that's a little odd for me

Another favorite of mine was Ryan's Hope. Anyone old enough to remember it? Ryan's Hope was a 30-minute soap opera which aired on ABC from 1975 through 1989. It focused on the Ryans, a Irish Catholic family in New York City who owned a tavern. A few of the cast members went on to greater things... Marg Helgenberger, Yasmine Bleeth, Kate Mulgrew & Corbin Bernsen
