Rushing as Upperclassman at UNF

Hi everyone!

I recently moved to Florida from Pennsylvania and had to go to a local community college in order to avoid paying a ridiculous amount of tuition because of out-of-state tuition fees.

I am planning on attending the University of North Florida next year (Fall 2015). I will be a Junior, and am interested in rushing a sorority.

Will being an upperclassman have any negative effects on me getting a bid? Is there any other information that you could give me to make my transition as an upperclassman easier?

There are posters who are familiar with UNF who may provide guidance specific to UNF. There will also be a new group colonizing following formal recruitment. The new group has not yet been selected; the finalists are presenting to Panhellenic in order to help it determine the group to be invited. You will want to read some colonization threads as well as recruitment threads on GC. Good luck!
