I went back in high school when I was on a HBCU tour. I enjoyed it and I've always wanted to go back.

I worked at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture. www.africanamericanculture.org.

Make a day out of both in my great city!

i've been to the wax museum, but waaaay back. we were actually scheduled to take the kids we tutor during the winter but weather and crap got in the way... i might do a history day this summer and hit both of those museums up myself :-)

i went to both the Blacks in Wax and the Reginald F. Lewis museum a month ago. i think they are a must see when visiting Baltimore.

Both are a definite must. My former chapter (Baltimore County Alumnae Chapter) funded a figure of Soror Vashti Turley Murphy for the GBIW museum. There is also, if I recall correctly, a display about AKA as well.

The RHL Museum is powerful in the tradition of the Franklin Institute. Using video, live guests and displays, it presents a haunting picture of Black life in MD, esp during and after slavery.

There is a wax figure of a Zeta founder, too.

I've been. We took a group of our Delta Academy & Delta GEMS back in 2006. It was very interesting and I recommend you go.
