Look, I just have to teach and make sure the kids know how to infer or imply. I don't have to actually do it myself. Think of your fat a** phys ed teacher. He didn't have to do the sit-ups; just had to make sure you did.

Now, back to our discussion. Is Haggard more of a hypocrite than the norm because he spoke against gay rights and marriage while having an affair with another man?

According to the story posted on CNN, Ted Haggard has now admitted that he bought meth from Mike Jones. Haggard says he didn’t use the meth; he says he threw it away. Haggard reportedly has told station KUSA-TV that he went to Jones “for a massage.”
This still seems to be a developing story.

it makes him an excellant example of a hypocrite, i think, but not any more so than any other hypocrite

I've never heard of anyone injecting it...snorting & smoking, but not injection...
