Getting "The Call"
Tonight was round 3 of recruitment. I just got the dreaded call from my Rho Gamma.
"Hey, I just got the list, and I'm really sorry, but you weren't asked back to either house."
There's a sorority colonizing in two weeks, and this whole time I've been torn between going through formal and colonizing. At least in the end the decision was made for me.
I'll end up where I'm meant to end up.
Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies.

I never went through formal recruitment (as a PNM), but did help colonize Delta Gamma at my school. It was an amazing experience and turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to me.
Good luck with your colony rush process - it's quick and exciting!

I would like to second this! I helped found a Theta colony! It is an amazing experience!!! I urge you to go to one of the informational meetings (If there are any offered)! This can be a great way to find out about the sorority!

Callouts
At our formal recruitment, they actually set up a round and gave a presentation. It was the one point in the evening that I cried.
I have been in touch with the expansion coordinator and basically spent all summer reading and learning about XYZ. I'm totally in love, and the first time I read their creed, I cried.
