Music and Greek Life
So I was listening to Desperately Wanting and I begin to wonder if there were any other songs about aspects pertaining to or song containing references to fraternities. So if you know any others, please do share.

"The Greeks Don't Want No Freaks" - The Eagles (1979)
There was beer all over the dance floor
and the band was playin' rhythm and blues
You got down and did the gator,
and half an hour later,
you were barfin' all over your Girlfriend's shoes.
But the Greeks don't want no freaks.
The Greeks don't want no freaks
Just put a little smile on them rosy cheeks,
'Cause the Greeks don't want no freaks.
(GATOR!!)
She was the pride and the passion of Dixie
She did exactly what her daddy had planned.
She was perfect little sister
until somebody missed her
and they found her in the bushes with the boys in the band
But the Greeks don't want no freaks
The Greeks don't want no freaks
So put a great big smile on them rosy cheeks,
'Cause the Greeks don't want no freaks
No, the Greeks don't want no freaks
Said, the Greeks don't want no freaks
Just put that monster smile on them rosy cheeks
'Cause the Greeks don't want no freaks
No, the Greeks don't want no freaks,
Ahh...

Django Walker - College Life
"Fraternity life was a change of pace and it taught me how to get shitfaced
and bring my failing grades home to good old dad"
I think he was an ATO somewhere down in Texas.

Off the top of my head...
Kenny Chesney's - Keg in the Closet
This ol' guitar taught me how to score
Right there on that Lambda Chi porch
Mary Ann taught me a little more
About wanting what you can't have
and a completely non lyrical reference...
Pi Kappa Phi letters on Alabama's - Just Us album cover.

Wrong.
Billy Joel wrote the song about a brief 6 month stint he actually did perform as a "piano man". He was having legal issues (mismanagement of money and trying to get out of a record lable), and was performing under the name Bill Martin. The people he sings about in the song were regular bar patrons, and he basically BS'd his way through the song.
He has told the story behind "Piano Man" at many of his concerts, and also during a college tour (not concert) back in the 90s.

I've always heard that it was about a pledge who left his LSU fraternity after a hazing incident. For what it's worth.

Half correct, Kevin Griffin, lead singer of the band was initiated into the fraternity, but his close friend was not.
