America's Top Model-Cycle 10
here are the new girls:
http://www.tv.yahoo.com/americas-nex...35130/photos/1
i believe the season is to start in March, 2008. one girl, Marvita, looks familiar. i do believe she made it to the finals this past season but wasn't chosen for the house.

This is correct, according to Wiki.

March '08 seems kind of soon for a new season. Saleisha barely has a chance to enjoy her (undeserved, imo) win.

Agreed! I was pulling for Jenah, I could picture her doing Marc Jacobs and Prada. Saleisha is cute but I just don't see her being a huge model. But then again, the winner never does go on to do anything big...

I think it's a gimmick. I mean how many times have we thought that the runner up had WAY more talent than the winner. I think they do it that way so the runner up won't be tied down by the "Top Model" contract. She'll have more opportunities.
BTW, the new Tyra mail is SO A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G

I was JUST laughing with a friend of mine about that. And saying that Tyra really must not like these girls very much, b/c listening to them read out loud and in "unison" is worse than watching a kindergarten music recital.
*No offense to those with kids, but all know, how painful it can be...LOL!*

Extremely annoying.
I'm not an avid fan. I usually wait until Sun. night to catch it...even though I have the magic of DVR now. That's how minor of a fan I am. The one thing I appreciated was seeing the girl booted out after not saying "Thank you" to Tyra or anyone else. You have to pay dues, and humility is part of that.
Besides that, I'll just wait and see what's in store.

That's what I heard. I'm still super addicted to the show. Even though I loved the earlier cycles better, I'm still geeked for a new season. I hope Tyra interacts with the girls more because she used to come to all their shoots and be in the house a lot more. That was before her talk show and production company took off, but still--it was more interesting to watch all the girls practically pee on themselves every other day, screaming "Tyra's here!!!!"

I used to love this show, but now I'm kind of over it. My biggest pet peeve is how Tyra stages the shoots/events/runway shows and none of the winners seem to really make it. (minus a few notable exceptions.) I mean, Project Runway gets some killer connections for their contestants.

Wow that time came quick! Anyway, I hoping that these girls have some personality. It seems like lately the show has been lacking talent....hopefully it gets better (although I say that every cycle).

Actually is you go to metrostyle.com you will see a couple ANTM's past winners. I dont know if this is considered a "killer connection" I just stumbled across them while shopping.
