SGRho Para
a couple of different questions:
i notice a lot of para sites (haha, parasites, ok im a dork) are not as stocked with SGRho items as they could be. I would say they don't carry as much as the other orgs, but that's a non-issue as i am not trying to buy para with another org's letters. sometimes i will see cute para but not available in our letters. sometimes i chalk it up to "oh well it's not meant to be," but sometimes i'm like "man that would be cute in my letters!"
anyway, are there stores/websites of para makers/vendors (sorors or not) who cater to us as an organization? i know that's very specific, but im just wondering. one of my chapter sorors from undergrad and i were talking about starting a para business (she designs clothes and what not on the side) and i started to think about these things, as well issues re: vendor licensing.

Hi Soror,
Here are two of my favorite sites owned by our sorors:
Poodle Prints - www.poodleprints.com
Professional Sorors - http://www.professionalsorors.com
I have one of the crystal tees, and it is very pretty - the crystals have stayed in place, even through numerous washes.

^^^ OK! You just lead me to a new site with Professional Sorors, and I liked it! I hope our soror's business really takes off with those nice items. I want that High Society Poodle....

There is one online / in store company that tries to keep stock of many GLOs para, Joe Toga, www.joetoga.com. I actually visited their store and they did have a lot of stuff for us.
As far as greek stores in particular, it has been my experience that you need to get to know the owner / buyer and encourage them to keep our stuff in stock. The 'catch' is that you have to encourage your other sorors to buy from that store so that the owner / buyer knows that your request to keep our stock up to date was serious.
I know of a few greek stores who order their stock based on the number of members on campus / in town.
There is this one greek store in Houston and the owner refuses to keep a lot of SGRho stuff in stock because we ususally don't have large lines at the two college campuses near his store, UH and TSU. But then there is this Delta who has a greek store and she does make an effort to keep our stuff in stock, although she has moved her store again.

Sorhor,
Try Sorhor Linda and Joe Rivera's Shop (The Greek Shop) in Fayetteville, NC. they have everything for Sigma and they are registered vendors. See the back of the Aurora Magazine for the other official vendors.
Their number is 910 860-1191
I hope this helps, however, they sell out of the current stuff real fast.
