Cool Ho ho HOEZ...

I admit it. I was one "those" kids who absolutely hated going to see Santa Claus. I kicked. I bit. I cried. I couldn't understand why my mother would even want to subject me to that kind of torture every single year. The only decent shot my parents ever got of me and Santa happened in my 7th year of life, but even in that picture, I look pissed and ready to spew chunks.

Here's a gallery of photos collected by the Chicago Tribune, sun-sentinel.com, and SouthFlorida.com over the years of children who enjoyed visiting Santa every year just as much as I did.

Now I just hope my mother never finds this website.

lol.....all those crying kids. Brilliant.

I think I was indifferent to Santa pictures -- I always got those and Easter Bunny pics.

My 2 year old LOVES seeing Santa on TV, in those snow globe-thingies, grandma's Santa dolls, etc...but when we took her to see the Santa at the mall, she wouldn't go anywhere near him. Although that could be because he was an aprox 6'5''/280 lbs big boy.

I need to add my picture there. The ONE year my parent's took me we stood in line for 2 hours and when I got there I bawled. I think i was 5. In the pic Santa looks like "get this kid offa me". Never went back (and didn't want to anyway)....

*off to find pic to burn...

Those are great pictures!! Reminds me of some of my childhood memories. One of those Santa's is the same one that my nephew took his first Santa picture with last year. He doesn't seem to have a problem with Santa yet!!

When I looked at those pictures, the ones with the two boys, one smiling sweetly, one looking like he needed an exorcism, it made me think of live-in and his brother.

I'm SURE his mom has a picture of live-in smiling sweetly, and his little brother freaking out all over Santa. I've seen ones without Santa.

Some of those Santas are very, very scary! I'd cry, too.

My favorite is the one where the kid is screaming at a plastic santa. I understand being afraid of a large bearded man, but a plastic one that is smaller than you? Too funny!
