What kind of badge do you have?
My chapter is ordering badges and I was wondering what everyone has!
Does anyone still wear it on a regular basis (I'd love to get mine made into a necklace when I graduate)?
What was the most popular one of your pledge class?

I got the white gold with pearls in each corner. I'm not sure what the most popular was in our class. A lot of people got the scroll borders (which is pretty too). I don't wear mine currently, but would love to get it fitted for a necklace.
I don't wear much gold, so I took that into consideration.

Mine's the yellow gold with alternating pearls and garnets (or are they rubies? whatever).

I have the plain gold scroll badge. We didn't have the SS and WG options when I pledged. I went with the plain one due to $ but plan to upgrade for my 10yr initiation anniversery. (Either all pearls or alternating pearl and garnet)
I think the most popular one was the pearl point, but I do remember a lot just getting the scroll badge too.

Ooh I had a long debate over whether to get the alternating pearls and garnets or to get the pearls with the garnet points... I chose the latter. I liked the garnets because they looked like rubies and I just love rubies. Although I only wear silver, I think gold looks more formal so that's what I chose. Soo excited for my badge to come, but I heard they won't arrive till spring break.
Most of my sisters chose the alternating or the pearl one. Few chose the scrolls.

Till spring break?!?!? Wow that's a while. We tried to get ours by initiation but I think that was only successful once while I was there. But we did get our badges either a few weeks later or begining of January.

I'm having an AWESOME time!!! This is our week of suspense and I get my big on Friday!!!! SOO excited!!! I'm leaving now to get another little present. So far I've gotten a board (for push pins), a photo album and a pillow!!! Each big makes the same thing for their little, but in the little's favorite colors, and attaches clues to who the big is. Our shoe hunt is on Friday (you all did shoe hunt too?) and then we're all going indoor skydiving on Saturday as a sisterhood social with our new bigs!!!

I got the yellow gold with pearl points, as did most of my pledge class. The pearl with garnet points was popular in my chapter, but my parents were paying for it and I knew they wouldn't spring for something fancier. If I had it to do over again, I would have gotten yellow gold with all pearls. I never wanted the garent points, because they ddn't mean anything.

For my 30th birthday, I got the white gold badge with alternating amethysts & pearls. I also got the matching chapter guard with all pearls. It's stunning and I adore it. The perfect 30th present.

I have the plain scroll edge pin. I would love, love a pretty jeweled older badge. I thought it would be amazing to have an alpha chapter badge, but I am wondering would there be ANY beta or gamma triangle badges? It would only be a three year window though, and they would have had to purchase a new badge since it wasn't an option when they initiated.

Now that I have the badge I want, I'm thinking something else. I want a few things to add to my Sigma Kappa jewelry collection. I'd really like the amethyst cushion ring in white gold. It's almost $300 though. Hmmm...how to convince the hubby. Anniversary gift? Christmas gift? Graduation gift?

Did any of your chapters utilize chapter guard pins?? No one in mine (Upsilon) has had one for years, but I think they are sweetly old-fashioned and I sorta want one!
