WTF! (For SoCAL GC'ers ONLY!)
I lived in Pomona for several years so I know what the IE thug life is all about. True I went to the Branding Iron a few. Sure I hung out in La Verne over at Nicks and Heros and what not. So needless to say country grew on me. I know I know. A black man like me shouldn't be listenin to country. But sometimes I do you know?
So I'm driving at around 5pm yesterday and I turn to 93.9 KZLA to see if they're playing some Brad Paisley or whatevz. What do I hear?
"Hey is that the truth or are you talking trash
Is your game M.V.P. like Steve Nash"
What do I think? Oh tight. I'll sing along.
"Zigga Hey DOn't be mad..don't me mean....Zigga Don't be mad, don't be....WAIT WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!"
Since when did 93.9 turn into KIIS FM part two? Where all my Riversider Riders at and why are you not as mad as I am!? Now I'm going to have to listen to the super hick station FROG which I hate to listen to because I swear I start talking with a southern accent after I listen to that station for 5 minutes. KILL ME NOW! HELP ME TOM CRUISE!

I think it started sometime last week. I had heard that it was going to happen but didn't beleive it. When I turned on KZLA, sure enough, there was some crappy pop music playing. Supposedly, it's b/c country music isn't big enough in Southern CA so they took away our KZLA. All I have left is KFROG. Damn.
Yeah I'm in Riverside & pretty pissed about it. Bastards took away my favorite country station.

Really? Here in San Diego, country music still has a pretty decent market. Both stations, KSON and US 95.7 play pretty much the same stuff. KSON runs on *two* frequencies, 97.3 and 92.1. Since they extend to north San Diego County, you all (y'all?) might want to try and see if you can pick up these frequencies where you live.
.....Kelly <--- listens to rock, R&B, easy listening, pop, independent rock, hip hop and, yes, country.

I'm with Kelly. I literally screamed in horror when 95.7 switched to country. I thought my radio was broke! eta: I remembered 92.1 used to be a station I listened to before it was country. If another one of my favorite stations switch formats I may just jump to XM.
Bobby, unless you know how to shoe a horse, there's no reason to listen to country music.
