Question If Sigma had a Mascot...

I am borrowing this idea from a thread I saw over in the Zeta Tau Alpha Forum & I thought it would apply to us. Since we don't have an official mascot what do you all think a good one would be? Do you not like having one and being able to run out and buy all the cute animals or things like the other groups?

Hopefully this will breathe some life back into this place! We need to keep Jocelyn on her toes

Oh, and I hope everyone is keeping cool out there!! Its way to hot out there!

I am kinda mixed on this one. I mean I think a mascot would be nice, but as it is if I see something with skull and crossbones on it I end up buying it (I have a scarf, hat, t-shirt, purse, and even a bandana for my dog). I am not sure if I my bank account could handle a mascot!

I do get kinda sick of seeing the generic teddy beas with letters on them when other sororities get cute turtles and such.

I guess a mascot would be nice. Maybe something with a nautical theme? Any ideas?

I can't think of a mascot that would go with either the skull & cross bones or the sailboat! Then again, I'm not a stuffed-animal, cuddly toy/doll kind of person!

I'm gonna go with the Care Bear! I collect them AND a Sigma created them.

I do have quite a few care bear things, but which one are we sticking with? I think both Share and Harmony bear are purple.

Well she did create one with Tri-Sigma specifically in mind. I'm pretty sure it was Harmony. I know of a couple chapters who have a giant stuffed animal Harmony bear that gets to hang out at the recruitment table and stuff when they have events.

Still can't figure out where and how they got a giant Harmony bear.

At alpha chapter, our local symbol is the butterfly. We use it to represent eternal friendship.

I'm not sure I'd like having a mascot. In my chapter, we had animal-themed big/little families, so that's what we'd buy (along with skulls and, when we could find them, sailboats or violets.) I don't think my pocketbook could handle having an actual mascot!
