Blood sugar? Seizure??

The strangest thing happened last night. I went out to the bar with a few friends (wasn't drinking, though).... Was standing with a few of them in the dance bar part of the bar... Next thing I knew, they were picking me up off the floor and asking me if I was okay. A couple started asking what happened and all I really remember is saying "I don't know!". Of course, they're all "Are you okay?? Amy, are you okay?? Are you SURE??" and I'm kinda dazed but like 'yeah, I'm fine. I don't know what the hell...but I'm fine".

No sooner do I say that (I guess, because I don't really remember), I lean back against the DJ Booth, and *Poof* I'm out again. I remember my one friend, Tiny, just screaming "Amy! AAAMMMYY!! AMY!! Amy! AMY" and shaking me until I fully woke up again. I, again, was on the floor... I looked at him and was just like "what?". So, again, they picked me up.

Really, that's all I remember. They took me out the back door, sat me down, and from what they said, I was sweating bullets and was whiter than my white tee. I don't really remember much of anything. My roommate got my keys and drove me home in my car.

Not that that whole situation wasn't scary in and of itself, but what's really bothering me is that I can't seem to figure what I think happened. I ate about an hour and a half prior to this (cheese and crackers and a bite of chicken), so I don't think my blood sugar just dropped. I don't have any history, to my knowledge, of diabetes or hypoglycemia. Tiny said the second time I went out, it almost seemed like i was going to start seizing - I guess I started to shake a little. I don't have any seizure-type activity or disorders in my family. I should probably have gone to the hospital, but of course I refused (like I was in my right mind!) and said I just wanted to go home and lay down and see how I felt. After a little while, my shoulder and wrist and head started hurting...I don't know, but I'm guessing that's probably the side I landed on or something.

In any case, I came home, my roommate made me a couple crackers w/ peanut butter and a slice of cheese (just to bite the low blood sugar idea in the ass) and I finally tried to pass out. I've been sleeping about 30-45 minutes on, 10-15 minutes off. I don't know if something is still bothering me (I feel a lot better - as close to 'fine' as normal, albiet a little sore), or if I scared myself enough that I subconciously don't want to fall asleep and not wake back up, or what...But I've been awake awake since about 4:30.

So, has anyone ever heard of/experienced anything similiar? And if so, what the hell did it end up being?! (Before the flamers go nuts on this post, I'm *not* seeking medical advice, and I *am* going to try to get in to see my Dr. Monday morning).

Did something happen that night to get you excited? (in a good or bad way) Sometimes getting riled up about something can cause blood pressure to sore and then plummet. This happened to my cousin at my grandma's funeral. All the cousins got into a fight with this stupid ass rude guy when we were in the processional (love Brooklyn funerals), and once we got to the church he passed out due to blood pressure and all that. Or do you get nervous in big crowds?

This can happen maytimes because of some type of pressure mentally.

Later in My marriage, I would just suddenly pass out after an argument. Fell down the stairs twice.

I cannot for the life of me think of what it is called, but it does and can happen. Hyper something I think.

First thing, have a Doctor give you a check up!!

Some years back, I was sitting in My store and was sweating bullets and became very pale.

Went to Dr. and they thought I was having a heart atttack. I kept telling them NO. They never did figure out what the problem was.

Hypertension? My dad has that and what you described sounds like his symptoms.
