There is no hinderance and certainly there is no need to jump to extreme conclusions, such as deactivating your account (unless that is what you independently choose to do). I am just stating the obvious. You have the hang of GC enough to know how to start threads, as well as post replies. Therefore, considering the fact that you admitted to seeing the POW and the Sisterfriend introduction thread, I am curious as to why you decided to forgo posting there to start a thread introducing yourself.
I welcome you to GC and encourage you to post. However, more importantly, I encourage you to take advice when it is initially given to you.
