National Council Announces Two Colonizations in February
Sigma Kappa’s national council and extension team are pleased to announce that we have been invited to colonize two new collegiate chapters at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, and Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. The colonization week at Duquesne will take place February 15 – 18, 2006. Marquette’s colonization activities are scheduled for February 22 – 26, 2006.
Copies of the letters sent to area alumnae, including a schedule of events and RSVP form, are listed below. The location of the rooms and specific times for both colonizations will be available soon. We are currently working with the university administrations and the college Panhellenics to determine these logistics.
For those alumnae interested in assisting or advising the two colonies, there will be a Potential Advisor Meeting during each colonization week. If you are interested in advising or attending any of the colonization activities, please take the time to fill out the respective survey linked below and send to national headquarters as listed on the form. If you have any questions or would like more information about either colonization, please e-mail Desiree Collado, associate director of chapter services/extension, at
dcollado@sigmakappa.org.
National Council and the extension team would like to express a special thank you to the local alumnae who have been extremely supportive of these opportunities.
