15-year old married to 37-year old

But I was really suprised to hear this story about a 15-year old boy marrying a 37-year old woman who is carrying his child. The woman is being charged with child molestation. http://www.gainesvilletimes.com/news...ws/37417.shtml

Except for the kid marrying at an early age, why does this remind me of Mary Kay Leterno (sp)? The one who slept and had two daugther by her former student.

This is the top story around GA, and I think in the end there is no law breaking.

As disgusting as it seems, the boy and the woman were doing it. in GA, 15-year-olds can't be married without consent, unless the woman is pregnant. When the law started looking at this, they got a marriage lic. and got married.

Case may be closed.

Unfortunately, these people are breeding.

I wouldn't say its disgusting just really unusual.

Politicians should be more careful when trying to legislate morality and force the world to their viewpoint.

I doubt society would be served by putting her in jail for years.

But had it been a 37 year old man and a 15 year old girl everyone would say he was a child molestor and screaming for him to be thrown in jail. Talk about a double standard!

The article said the relationship had been going on for TWO YEARS....

What would a 35-year old woman want with a THIRTEEEN year old...not even HIGH SCHOOL!!!!

This reminds me of my jr. high school where a student had a relationship with the librarian...who was our classmate's mom. She was put on house arrest. - Her (now ex) husband was a district judge...
