Free and Easy Place to Store Photos for Public Viewing
I am looking for a site that holds pictures that I can link to.
So I want the pictures to show and not have some silly "This pic is hosted on geocities" logo instead if I put them on a webpage.
I haven't looked for anything like this recently, but I was hoping someone could quickly recommend me something.

http://tinypic.com is great if you just want quick links to pix.
I started using http://www.photobucket.com when it first started. It was free and I had unlimited bandwidth. Then more and more people started using it and pretty soon pictures weren't showing up if you didn't pay. Because I had hundreds of photos already uploaded that I use for MySpace and LJ, I ended up giving in and paying $25/year. I figured it's not too much as long as my pix keep loading.

You introduced me to photobucket and I love it. It's really easy to use and has 3 different codes for diff types of web html. I have over a 100 pics on there and I haven't had any problems yet.

I have photobucket (i use the free stuff cause i'm cheap), and it has always worked for me. There are sometimes that the site is down, so the pics won't show for a little, but it really isn't a big deal.
I also found that http://www.bolt.com works good for having pictures. It is not just a site to upload photos, it is kinda like myspace---note how i said KINDA lol. But you can upload photos on there and I never had problems with linking them to other sites.

It's good that you haven't experienced problems, but I've seen lots of profiles on MySpace with picture boxes bearing the Photobucket.com logo saying "Bandwidth exceeded -- Image not Shown". I didn't want to take a chance with my 3 years worth of photos uploaded onto that site.

I had to do the same -- pay -- for Picturetrail. Oh well. It's worth it to know all my pics are safe.
