Finally a new GCer that was smart enough to go Theta! ; ) Congrats to you and to your chapter Tink. I had actually stopped reading recruitment threads because they never turned out in our favor. I just went back and read yours now. WOW! I hope that your Theta experience is as rewarding as mine has been!

THanks to everyone. We had our first meeting of the year tonight and it was great! A little sad since UCSD doesnt have houses on campus so meetings are held in class rooms. But besides the location I had fun. So yeah, thanks a ton girls Im SO HAPPY!!

Its ok I am from a chapter without a house (some chapters at UCF have houses others dont) and we held our meetings in a auditorium. Definetly not the place you wanna hang out between classes and their certainly isnt a meal plan or a large screen tv in there but is doesnt take away from the sisterhood.

My school of Eastern Kentucky University(Delta Upsilon) doesnt have greek housing either by way of a "house." We have designated dorm floors for each NPC/IFC group. Having said that, we too had to have our meetings in an lecture hall. However our sisterhood was and still is(eventhough I'm alum now) strong as can be! Houses are nice, but they dont define the sisterhood
