All hail Delta Tau Chi... it was practically required pledge knowledge to recite from memory lines from Animal House in my day:

D-Day: War's over, man... Wormer dropped the big one.

Otter: Germans?

Boon: Forget it, he's rolling!

(Bluto runs out... realizes no one follows him and he returns, pissed off...)

Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.

It's been posted elsewhere in Greek Chat, but "Animal House" started as Chris Miller's short story, "The Night of the Seven Fires," in the National Lampoon (although some characters made their appearance earlier in Doug Kinney's High School Yearbook in the Lampoon.)
