Rush Stories

Would love to hear some of your rush stories (even if it was 20 years ago!) What was it like? What kind of parties did you attend? Who did you pref besides Zeta? What helped you make your final decision?

I went through Rush twice (once as a sophomore and then as a junior). I am a Delta Zeta and a Delta Gamma legacy so all the sororities other than DZ thought I'd go DZ because of my legacy. I didn't get invited back to DZ after the first round. The second round I was dropped from all because of the legacy thing.

I went through as a junior and I suicided ZTA. They were the only pref I went to. The second round though I went to DZ, ZTA, and ADPi. At Winthrop, the five sororities are ADPi, Chi Omega, Delta Zeta, Tri-Sigma, and ZTA.
