Greek Week Awards
At the Greek Week Awards banquet, the Delta Phi chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha brought home its 5th consecutive Community Service Award and its 4th Most Outstanding Safe Environment Award in 5 years. Individually we had 3 members inducted into the Order of Omega, the Sophomore of the Year Award, and the Unsung Hero award.
We are initiating 4 guys April 22 and also are initiating 7 men from STL College of Pharmacy (Colony 287).

The brothers at Phi Tau just took Greek Week at Shippensburg- here is the news release from the chapter
Lenoxxx
=====
Dear Alumni, As of Thursday I am proud to announce that for the first time in
14 years the Phi Tau Zeta chapter has been crowned Greek Week Champs! We
clinched the honor by taking first place in both the talent show and Lip Sing.
For Talent Brothers Justin Hammond, Charlie King, and Kurt Cain-Walther
played guitars and sang the song "Time of Your Life," and then finished it off
doing versus from "Magic Carpet Ride." They all did an extremely good job.
For Lip Sing our New Guys did the skit from Animal House lip singing Shout.
All the brothers participated by yelling out our parts from Magic Carpet Ride
and the crowd was going crazy. Hope all is going well in Alumni Land.

I just got the Animal House movie on DVD...comes with
"trivia" printed during certain scenes....neat stuff!
Here are some basic trivia questions:
1. on what actual fraternity, at what college, was the Animal House "loosely" based?
2. what campus was it filmed on?
3. Who (actor's name) uttered the famous words:
"thank you sir, may I have another"
Should be easy

#3 is Kevin Bacon, who is a brother at UF. Though it isn't the same Kevin Bacon, it did make for a great joke when he was an AM.
