Talking CHARTERED!!! Wooooohooooooo!

We are finally chartered!!

LOL, just still running on adreniline... this weekend was great. Spent Friday and Saturday with the other 19 charter members and Jennifer and Tami. Everything went so well!
Just wanted to share the excitement! And today won't be the day to calm down, we actually made the front of the Red and Black! Check it out at www.randb.com ! (if you look today, Oct 2, it will be the top story-- after that, you will have to "search")

Cool

We had great turnout at our rush event last night- 19 girls I think! I am pretty sure several of them were brand new (many of them had been to our other info meetings).

Of course today the (sarcasm here) wonderful editorial cartoonist for the paper got us... it was actually kind of funny, though. It is a cartoon of "Freddy Freshman" showing up for his "first date night with the new agricultural sorority." The girl is in overalls and milking a cow... she tells him "what are you waiting for, grab an udder!"

I know its all in humor, but still... LOL.

That's a great rush turnout!

Well, at least you know you're becoming well-known when the cartoonist takes the time to put your group in a cartoon!
