Keep a lookout

As we leave school and the fraternity house, Kappa Sigma does not play as active a role in our everyday lives, though atleast for me, it is integral to everything I do. Keep a lookout for badges or rings, you never know when a brother is in your midst.

I recently had the privelege of discovering one of the sergeant's in the Unit I was temporarily working in was a brother. I take great satisfaction knowing I can call someone in my professional life brother, and know that he will be there for me, anytime of day or night, and to him the same about me. Though he was older and was from Virginia, and me from Nebraska, when I asked him if he was a Kappa Sigma and saying AEKDB we immediately had something very deep in common.

Also, there are many brothers, myself and the Sgt. I met included, that are serving honorably in our nation's armed forces, fighting Cossa wherever he may show up. There are many more that are on the front lines risking their lives every day. Please remember and support them.

Brother Salmi, A1C, USAF

You've got that right; you never really know when you'll run into a Kappa Sig.

I've been fortunate enough to meet brothers at the gym, in airports, restaurants and just generally around and about. It's really a cool feeling to meet a brother out of the blue, and know that you share such a significant past experience.

May all those Brothers (and non-Brothers, for that matter) who are fighting for are safety be safe and secure, and may they return to the hero's welcome they deserve.

AEKDB
