				Cartoons

it's saturday and i am home for the holiday (oh give thanks to God for sending His Son to die for a sin-sick world ). when i am at home, i turn into a little kid with my cereal and cartoons. i was just wondering if anyone still watched cartoons. which ones? here are some of my favorites:

- recess (when i was a kid, i was a combo of t.j, gretchen, and of course spinelli! )
- rugrats (i was a little like angelica too! )
- hey arnold!

------------------
I hope life isn't a big joke, because I don't get it.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind

			MeezDiscreet--
I too am a Rugrats fan. I just got the Paris movie the other week and it's amazing. Those babies are so cute, even if little Angelica is evil. I think all of us were Angelicas back in the day. My most favorite Rugrats episode was when Chuckie found out what happened to his Mommy.

i have a confession to make...sniff, sniff...when the first rugrats movie came out, i borrowed my sisters little girl just so that i could have an exuse to go see it...oh girl, you need someone to baby sit...sure girl, i'll take lil miss to see that new rugrats movie ...there, its out in the open now
i really dug thundercats, he-man, she-ra, and transformers...i watched religiously...then there's scooby doo and the muppets...i try to restrict my addiction for the sake of mature development, but every now and then i "regress" and watch an episode or two

It's all about the Powerpuff Girls for me! They and Dexter's Labaratory (sp?) are so funny because they take anime to a hilarious American level.

I also like MIB, Batman Beyond, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Recess, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

I OD'ed on the Flintstones, and I can't stand them anymore, but I like most H-B cartoon characters, especially Scooby and a Pup Named Scooby Doo.

Spider Man
Super Friends (Aqua man was my favorite)
Johnny Quest

Being the mother of two young children
(ages 7 years and 22 months), I just HAPPEN to come across a FEW 'toons' that catch my attention. They are:

Recess (I love this )
Flintstones ( an oldie, but goodie)
Little Bill
Power Puff Girls (my daughter loves this one)
Johnny Bravo (he makes me laugh)
Little Bear
Thunder Cats (gosh I love Panthro)

But get this! There are ALSO a few children's programs that I tend to enjoy. They are:

Dora the Explorer
Bear in the Big Blue House
Blue's Clues

Hey, I guess this just goes to show that many of us, no matter what our ages, are STILL kids at heart (I know that I am).

Hi MeezDiscreet, I guess you can say that I have been missing in action. It has just dawned on me that there is less than a month left in the semester and I have a ton of things to do.

Now my favorite cartoons:
The Flinstons
Tiny Tunes
Tom and Jerry

I really enjoy the old ones like:
The Care Bears and Rainbow Bright

My absolute favorite are cartoon movies like:
The Lion King
Fivol(sp)Goes West
Lady and the Tramp
Bambi
Man you are taking me back, I can't believe I'm 21 years old. It seems like I was 12 years old just last year. It's funny how time flies by.
Oh yeah I almost forgot, I think the name of the cartoon is Doug and I absolutely love the cartoon Author.

LOL!!!!! Yeah I remember those and BEVERLY HILLS TEENS (I liked Troy). Growing up in the 80's in NYC was an experience! I remember in Kindergarten and first grade, everyone had a slleping bag for nap time and , LOL!, I had a CABBAGE PATCH KIDS sleeping bag (anyone remember them and the movie??)!!! My friends had STAR WARS, E.T., and She-Ra.

I don't watch cartoons anymore (except if they are OLD SCHOOL), but I did enjot Tiny Toons and power Rangers, because of my little sister, haha.

Okay here are my favorites (no specific order):

1) He-Man and She-Ra(yeah, I remember the episode of when they found out they were brother/sister! Remember Orko and the other little creature that you had to find on the screen in She-Ra?).
2) Gummy Bears
3) Thundercats (Thunder, thunder, thundercats, oooooooo!)
4) Snorkles
5) The-Get-a-Long-Gang
6) Beverly Hills Teens
7) Smurfs
8) Dungeon and Dragons
9) Spider Man
10) Flintstones
11) The Jetsons
12) Tom and Jerry
13) All the Warner Brother catoons, bugs bunny, Elmer Fudd, etc.
14) Care Bears (remember the movie?)
15) Rainbow Brite

Now...if you remember these, you are REALLY old school, LOLOLOLOLOL:

1) Transformers
2) Voltron
3) Strawberry Shortcake
4) Tiger Sharks
5) Karate Kat
6) Teen Wolf
7) Inspector Gadget
8) Popeye
9) G.I. Joe
10) Captain America
11) Night Rider
12) My Little Pony

I am usually quiet on the board, but I had to jump in on this topic. I guess you can consider me old school because I remember every single of those cartoons! But,..to add on to your list I had to watch :
Heathcliff
Archie
Mighty Mouse

VERY OLD SCHOOL:

H.R. Pufnstuf
Top Cat

Yogi and Friends : Snaglepuss and Huckleberry Hound

Can someone solve this mystery for me? To all of the Tom and Jerry fans did they ever show the maids face?! My brother and
I are still in debate ( LOL about 10 years) over that! I say that they only showed her feet! He said the one day that I didn't watch,....they showed her face. Help?

Does anyone remember when Kid N' Play had a cartoon and also M.C. Hammer? LOL

LOL Heathcliff, Mighty, Mouse, and Archie!
FOr all of you Archie fans out there...I have 274 Archie books at home, all DIFFERENT, and without counting my little sister's collection, lol.

Well, from what I remember, I ALWAYS watched Tom & Jerry and never saw the maid's face. I guess the purpose was because since Tom & Jerry are animals and always on the ground, we see their surroundings at their level. I never saw the maid's face.
