TAU KAPPA EPSILON FRATERNITY MOURNS THE LOSS OF FRATER STEVEN BRACK

The Lambda-Upsilon Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity at Georgia Southern University mourns the loss of our frater and friend, Frater Steven Brack. Frater Brack passed into the Chapter Eternal on Monday, October 11, as the result of a tragic automobile accident. Frater Brack was initiated into the Lambda-Upsilon Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity on January 28, 1989, as its 235th member.

Frater Brack is survived by his wife, Jill, a former TKE Little Sister and a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, and his two children, Mollie and Tyler. Frater Steven is the son of Frater Charles M. Brack, the 236th member of the Lambda-Upsilon Chapter.

Funeral ceremonies for Frater Brack will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 14, at the First Baptist Church of Cochran, Georgia. The church is located at 400 North 2nd Street, Cochran, GA 31014 (912-934-6356). Frater Frank Sanders will represent the Lambda-Upsilon Chapter at the funeral ceremonies. Other members of the chapter are also encouraged to attend.

In accordance with the traditions of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and the Lambda-Upsilon Chapter, Frater Frank Sanders, chairman of the board of directors of the chapter corporation, has declared a seven-day period of mourning, beginning on Wednesday, October 13, and ending on Tuesday, October 19, 2004. All initiated collegiate and alumni members of the Lambda-Upsilon Chapter are encouraged to wear their badge on top of a black ribbon, and all TKE flags are to be flown at half mast.

Cards and notes of condolence can be sent to: Jill Brack, 653 Main Street, Danville, GA 31017.
