Rush at UC Riverside

First off I just wanted to say how amazing I think you all are! I've read through alot of the different threads and am just completely impresed with how supportive you all are of each other and of PNM's. I've posted a couple times before and was going to be rushing at UCSB as a transfer. But I've made my final choice and I will be attending UC Riverside! And I'm already really excited about that. I was wondering if any of you knew about rush at UCR, or if better yet any of you have attended UCR and could let me know what I can expect there. I love reading all the things you guys post and I know anything you could tell me would be helpful. Everything I see here makes me want to be apart of it even more! Can't wait to hear from you all!

Hey there! My cousing & his girlfriend just graduated this past spring & she was a member of Sigma Kappa there. She loved the school, the atmosphere, & the fun & memories she had with her sisters. I say you definitely go for it & keep all your options open. You'll be sure to find a sure fit for yourself if you go into it with an open mind. Good-Luck! Let me know how it turns out!

I had a couple of friends go to UCR out of high school and from what I've been told being a junior PNMs is not a problem at all, their rush is not nearly as competitive as other schools and is pretty laid back. Go in to recruitment with an open mind and I'm sure everything will be fine! Good luck and keep us posted!
